Hi, I'm Scott Swinson
Hi, I’m Scott.
Being able to follow my passion for watercolours over the past 37 years is something I’m grateful for every day. To see the world with excited eyes and create something that didn’t exist a few hours ago often feels like magic.
Of course… sometimes it feels terrible too when it doesn’t go to plan.
That’s all part of it.
The Painting Room is really the culmination of many years of painting, filming and teaching. It’s something I couldn’t have created even five years ago without the knowledge I now have of how to film and explain the painting process clearly.
And I truly believe it can become something special—for you as well.
Inside The Painting Room, you’ll have a much closer connection to me than anywhere else. You’ll be able to ask specific questions about your own work and see them answered using paint, paper and brushes—not just words.
We’ll get to know each other, and I’ll do everything I can to help you improve and enjoy the process of painting!
I’ve seen time and time again that when people paint alongside me—even for a short period—their progress can accelerate quickly. Being able to answer questions in real time, as we paint together, makes a huge difference.
That’s what I want to bring into this space.
At the moment, I’m still working as a physiotherapist, but painting and teaching is what I care most deeply about. This membership is the beginning of a new chapter for me—and I’m excited to build it with you.
